IronCAD Mechanical is a powerful IronCAD plugin which includes tools for Structural Steel, Piping, Flange Design, Stairs & Railings, Mold Design, and many more areas of increased productivity in IronCAD. It combines prebuilt libraries of components, with powerful automation tools like the Face to DXF tool, which quickly exports a DXF of the selected face, or the Export Unfold tool, which can export hundreds of unfolded sheet metal flat pattern DXFs in just a few clicks.

Steel sections automatically connect to each other in useful positions, and can be trimmed quickly in many different ways. The steel library in customizable, so you can change steel sizes, or add your own custom extrusions enabling them to use the power of ICMECH.
IronCAD Mechanical contains a large customizable fastener library. You can add a fastener assembly which will drill a hole through multiple parts at once, then add a bolt, washer, and nut combo to your model to fit the hole. The fastener assembly tool even allows you to change the tolerance on seperate parts as the hole goes through them, for example the second part in the cut might have a thread, and the first part a hole with a +2 tolerance.
The IronCAD Mechanical Add-on contains powerful piping tools and a large library of customizable pipe sizes. You can automatically place pipe along a 3D wire, creating bends and new pipe sections along the way, and you can drag and drop new pipe components to snap them together like Lego.
