Supplementary geometry on drawing sheets and views is created using the tools on the Sheet Drawing toolbar or from the Sketch Fluent Ribbon Bar. These tools are identical to those on the 2D Technical Drawing toolbar in the scene, with the addition of a Text tool. Alternately, they can be accessed from the Edit menu.
Select the desired Sheet Drawing tool(s) and create the desired geometry directly on the sheet background. Sheet Geometry can be joined into single segments for ease of positioning and creating complex groups of curves. Individual segments can be joined/un-joined from the group by right-clicking on a sheet curve and selecting the options from the resulting pop-up menu. When creating sheet curves, element are automatically joined if the start of a new segment is located on an existing segment or if there is a segment highlight during the creation of a new element.
NOTE: Selecting the Edit View option for a broken view displays it in its unbroken state. In order for supplementary geometry to be displayed when the view is returned to its broken state, it must be added within the boundaries of the existing view regions.
