IronCAD's two different 2D drawing and drafting environments.
Inside IronCAD there are two unique 2D drawing environments, ICD and IronCAD Draft (AKA CAXA Draft). Both provide benefits and both directly link into the 3D scene to pull and update 2D data. For example if you make a change to your 3D model, your 2D Drawing views can be updated automatically.
Most IronCAD users predominately use the ICD environment, as it provides a more intuitive user interface and often a faster end result for making manufacturing drawings. However some users prefer to use the CAXA Draft environment because it is more suited to traditional detailed drafting, and has a traditional interface similar to legacy 2D CAD systems. It also allows users to work natively with DXF/DWG files, which can be beneficial for collaboration.
